Colin is the founder of Cailean and specialises in the area of wealth preservation for individual clients and owner managed businesses. In particular, he provides advice in investments and pre/post retirement planning, pensions and divorce and Inheritance Tax planning. He likes to demystify even the most complex financial planning matters with his clients as much as possible and his motto is to “keep it simple”. Colin has been in financial services since 2001 and has worked for both large national advisory firms and privately owned independent financial advisory firms. He is qualified to Diploma level.
When not working, Colin enjoys spending time with his children (Liam, Adam, Ray and Sadie) and his wife Lauren, walking his dogs, renovating motorcycles and at his allotment.

Bev looks after the paraplanning side of our business, which means she does research into the solutions we recommend to our clients and prepares the suitability reports explaining the reasons behind our recommendations. She has been in financial services since 1999 and has worked with various large corporate companies and national independent financial advisory firms, providing support for both individual and corporate clients. Bev is also qualified to Diploma level and is currently working towards her Advanced Diploma.
When not working, Bev loves to spend time with her husband Simon and their children, Lucas and Aria. Bev loves her music and going to music festivals and concerts to see bands.
Emma Coyle
Emma is part of the Business Support Team at Cailean, having joined in February 2020. She has been in the Financial Services Sector since 1997 and has worked in varied roles within administration and adviser support. She started in Standard life where she gained her Financial Planning Certificate, moving to St. James Place in 2004 and from there moved into working with Independent Advisers rather than tied Advisers.
When not working Emma enjoys music and spending time with her friends and family.
